Hello Josh I did read mkb 1199995 and did the following section:
True' then restart the CMS/SIA for the change to take effect.
This key does not exist by default. If it is not set, the AD Authentication plugin assumes a value of 'false' (0).
To ensure your key is working ensure you see something similar to the following in the CMS trace logs:
WINAD: ADRegistry::ReadKeys() -- Reading secWinAD/UseFQDNForDirectoryServers
WINAD: ADRegistry::ToBoolean() -- Parsed True as true.
I then restarted the server. I still get the (FWM 00006) when trying to login. Plus I still get access denied when trying to manage servers, even with ntlm set. This has been very frustrating. Any other ideas?
btw in the cms_xxxxxxx.glf I do see some errors. Nothing about secWinAD but erros like the following:
Database deadlock encountered. Ensure database is correctly tuned and that data statistics are up to date.
