I have a question....
So you have OM to PA integration turned on for a group of employees, lets say identified by a specific Personal Area, so that on IT0001 (Org Assignment) it displays the Org Unit and Position pulled from OM.
Now you want to interface into SAP HCM from an external source system other groups of employees with specific different Personal Areas who will not have any OM integration at all and no Object ID's for their job titles (positions) and departments (org units), but you want to populate their job titles
and departments into the same fields in IT0001 that the OM-PA integrated employees are. We have clear identifiers for the 'OM integrated' records and those that are not but wish to see the job titles and department values in the same fields in IT0001. The 'OM integrated' records will of course all have object ID's the others won't, is there a way perhaps to assign them dummy Object ID's so we can just populate description field with whatever comes in on the interface formt he external source system.
So perhaps displaying values with 'integration' turned on and values with no 'integration'.
What do you think?
