well, this is a bit tricky.
Why cant you just have the variables in the query,
start the template and the variable pop up shows up
user selects variables
web template opens for the selection?
this would be the standard and easy way.
for what you want to do, you would need
1) queries with data (i.e. master data?) to populate the dropdown boxes - all included into the first template
2) a second template, that is called to open out of the first one, when opening the second template you need to hand over the drop down selections to variables in the second template - this can be done when using the same variables
actually your screen looks a bit funny. are you trying to rebild something that come out of BPS?
Then you might have to convince the users, that IP works a bit different and that some procedures will change.
