Thanks for the response.  My actual requirement is need to generate a SDM( it's tool which used to generate a tickets( Non SAP) request whenever PI Alerts generated. 

SDM team agreed that if we can generate a alerts in  file , They can write a script to generate ticket.

I have solution in my mind.

If i create a dedicated mail box to store the PI alerts , Then i'll create a Mail to File scenario.  So that SDM team can generate a request when ever file exist in the file directory.

I have few doubts in configuring the Mail sender adapter.

1) I am doing a POC to fetch a mail from Outlook , What kind of Transport Protocol i have to use?

POP or IMAP4

2) What will be the URL parameter ? What i need to maintain if i am trying to pick a mail from my inbox?
