Did you ever get this figured out? I am facing a similar problem. Field on report, in a detail section by itself, Can Grow is on, and First Line Indent is set to .5 inches. If the data has embedded hyphen, and the text after the last hyphen would force word-wrap, Crystal breaks the line at the hyphen, the second line is then also indented and breaks where it should have on the first line, and the field potentially (depending on length of text and additional hyphens) will end up taking three lines when it should have been two, or four when s/b three, etc. If I use Replace to change all hyphens to periods, problem goes away. Looks like a bug/logic error in Crystal's line-break algorithm. I've googled the daylights out of this and you are the only one that has ever said anything about it. If no or non-affirmative response I will probably open up a fresh post. btw, my problem is all on Windows, CR Developer 14.0.2.364. Doesn't matter if it's in CR or in the target application, problem persists.
