Thank you for your response.
In my scenario system is automatically picking responsible cost center (in Maintenance Order > additional data tab) from Work Center.
So I tested by manually maintaining both profit center
Case 1: Equipment-profit center,
Case 2: Work center-profit center
In both cases I was able to perform Settlement & business completion of maintenance orders.
Can you please elaborate how equipment-profit center will be helpful in proper cost settlement.
I want to understand the difference in both cases so that I can define the rule in exit IWO10005.
