Please find the scenario and kindly provide the solution.
1. Client maintained number range for interval 01 Year 9999 with 51 series in 2013 and it is still going on up to 30 April 2015.
2. At the same in FBN1 (RE -51) also maintained yearly for FY 2013 to 2015 but marked as external.
in above case system is triggering the MIRO document (accounting document) from OMRJ(Logistic document number range) since 2013 onwards and still continuing with the same number range (because its maintained for 9999 years)
Now client wanted to change the MIRO number from May 2015 onwards with new number range series.
Q1. Can i uncheck the external number field in FBN1 for 2015, if so what is the impact, will system trigger from now onwards with a new number range.
Or
Q2. shall have to delete the interval 01 year 9999 in OMRJ and configure new number range for 2015 with 51 series, then what is the impact.
I'm totally confused..your prompt reply can help me out.
