MRP to consider WIP

Hi Experts,

I do understand that WIP is "NOT" stock in SAP. but in our process WIP stays for long time.

for example

I have a production order and I confirmed 10 quantity for operation 10. that means my wip for the material is 10.

Then I get a requirement of 10 for the material. when I run MRP , it creates procurement proposal for 10 again. but in reality I know 10 will be GR'ed from the production order in a week. so I want MRP to consider the wip stock and not create procurement proposal.

how can I achieve this? user exit in mrp? or any other workarounds?
