You can use Code List Restriction between fields to achieve dependency between two or more fields.
You can restrict the values available from a drop-down list by creating and maintaining code list restriction. by default system allows all the code values for a field to be visible. you can restrict those values based on another field (Control field) or based on logged in user's business role.
