Can you pls explain, step by step how did this happen? Before this step, with or without MRS, how did you create the assignment?And send us the long text of the error message as well. What type of resources you are using? Is this resource mentioned in the message an individual (HR Object Type P) or a Material, or a PRT etc.
As commented in your other message (Error " assignment preceeds validity period for resource XXXXXXX" in IW32 save) as well, you need to let us know as much as possible.
As you know, we are all using separate/different configurations. So in order to be able to understand what is possibly happening in your system and to give you some suggestions, we definitely need more details in some cases.
But considering your other issue as well, this inconsistency was initiated due to a change in HR vailabilities of the individuals after the job has been dispatched/assigned to an individual. Simply remove the individual from the split (if splits are used) and then rerun scheduling (MRS) to create the assignments.
Make sure your resource transfer programs /MRSS/SGE_PN_MNT and /MRSS/HCM_RPTWFMIF are running on time and regularly (at least once a day) as batch jobs.
