Hi Swapna,
A quick check, Are you able to ping the source server from target server through command prompt?
To promote job from Source to Target server you can use target server promotion management tool as long as target server is able to communicate with source system.
If you are not able to Ping the source system from target system. please contact your system admin on this issue.
Please let us the problem with source promotion management tool.
