I Looked at APD. it has got some cool features and thanks for pointing it to me. But not meeting my requirements may be i need to explore further. Here are the pain points i'm facing so far with APD in achieving my goal.
- I'm looking for an output that retains interactive BEx features so output should be in an excel file and users be able to do further analysis with it. (Currently, I only see option of flat file / CSV with APD)
- I'm looking to execute BEx workbook (but i can only see BEx query option in APD)
- Currently APD is failing while running BEx query with variables even though i've supplemented variables via BEx variant and specified in the APD definition (Error message i got with APD was "Dynamic variable ZXXXX not supported by ODBO even when variant has value for ZXXXX)
Any other ideas/suggestions?
