HI Marcio,
Thanks for your time.
As your advice I checked the info records as well. Actually, both Planned Delivery Time saved on MRP2 view and info-records ME13 were same.
To give a bit of detail and back ground of my problem:
We have activated ATP (Available to Promise) feature in our system which is interacting with the shipment notifications (or estimated time of supply) we usually receive from our vendor. We receive this information through an interface that we have between our SAP and our vendor's system. We get some estimated supply time as feedback shortly after we raise an order to them.
So, when creating a purchase order, as an initial step, the Planned Delivery Time on MM is used to estimate delivery time to our warehouse. BUT, once the vendor receive our orders, they provide us with an estimation on when they can dispatch our order (all done within the system automatically).
The dates we receive from the vendors are used to update the estimated delivery time to our warehouse and accordingly these dates are provided to dealers to give them an expected availability date. In fact this information is used as the basis of our ATP (available to Promise) system.
Now, my problem specifically happens when: the estimated delivery time to our warehouse based the feedback we receive form our vendors sits beyond the Planned Delivery Time already set in Material Master as default.
We do not want to create a new order even if the estimated delivery time of previously created POs are beyond the default Planned Delivery Time on MM. Is there any way to do this?
In many cases our suppliers may provide longer than standard supply time (especially for slow moving items that they may not have in stock). The last thing I want is keep creating Purchase Orders for these items.
Thank you very much for your help,
Mehdi
