I agree with you, but what I try to convey is not the give the solution upfront, but rather give some hints first. Hopefully this will enable people to
- try to solve their problem first, and
- if they got stuck, have them show what they've tried, and where they got stuck / entered a dead end, so we (meaning everyone in this topic) can work from there towards a working solution
After all, that's what makes development fun, right, trying to solve the puzzle?
Since you have solved the issue on your own, I applaud you for trying (and succeeding!), and yes by all means please post the solution so others can indeed benefit from it -- and you may receive reward points from the original poster for tackling his/her issue.
