sorting order in crystal report

Hello All,

I have 2 reports one running in Qa and other in Prod. The sorting order in prod varies from QA in some records in data.

"Start IP" ,end ip they are of type char.

There is no sort applied in record sort expert for this filed.Yet my prod report and QA report sorting does not match in few cases and matches in a few.Why this inconsistency. Any inputs greatly appreciated. Image included with screenshot of prod and qa data along with record sort expert information.

Note: Prod uses old tables, QA uses new converted tables.
