SAP allow the control in Business Partner automatically in the next forms:
1- Prefix by example: C-0001
2- Suffix, by example: 001-C
3- Numeric, by example: 0001, 0002....
4-Both: by example C-001-P
you can configuration in: Administration, System initialization, Document numbering.
